นอกเหนือจากเรื่องการเลี้ยงลูกน้อยวัยทารกถึง สามขวบแล้วนั้น เรื่องการสร้างเสริมพัฒนาการการเรียนรู้ในเด็กเล็ก ก็เป็นสิ่งที่เราอยากจะนำมาลงไว้ที่นี่ เพื่อเป็นประสบการณ์ให้คุณแม่คนใหม่ได้ลองศึกษาดู ประเทศไทยเรานั้น การพัฒนาเด็กเล็กยังไม่ได้รับการนิยมแพร่หลาย ค่านิยมเรายังคิดว่า เด็กก็คือเด็ก ไม่ต้องทำอะไรมาก ให้กิน ให้เล่นไปแค่นั้น แต่สำหรับเรา หรือแม่ ๆ ที่อ่านหนังสือ การพัฒนาเด็กเล็กนั้นคงไม่เห็นด้วยนัก ยิ่งโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ความเป็นจริงที่ว่า 70 % ของสมองเด็กทารกแรกเกิดพัฒนาในสามปีแรก ยิ่งทำให้เราให้เวลากับลูกมากที่สุดในช่วงเวลานี้
เรายังได้ตั้งใจจะจดบันทึกเรือ่งราวในแต่ละวันของลูก ๆ ไว้ในที่นี่ด้วย โดยเฉพาะเรื่องการไปโรงเรียนของลูก ๆ และเรื่องการฝึกลูกด้วยตัวของเราเอง สิ่งเหล่านี้จะเป็นของขวัญผ่านกาลเวลาให้พวกเขาเวลาโต
เราเป็นแม่ธรรมดา ๆ คนหนึ่ง ที่ตั้งใจจะเลี้ยงดูลูกให้เป็นเด็กที่มีความสุข ร่าเริง แจ่มใส และเติบโตขึ้นมาด้วยความมั่นใจ กล้าหาญ เป็นคนดี มีเมตตา แต่ก็มีสติปัญญาที่จะนำพาตนเอง ครอบครัว และประเทศชาติได้
หลักการของเราคือ สนับสนุน ส่งเสริม ลูกในสิ่งที่ลูกชอบและสนใจ ชี้นำ แนะแนวทางในสิ่งที่เราเองเห็นว่าจะเป็นประโยชน์กับลูกในอนาคต สิ่งที่เราให้กับลูกก็คือ ประสบการณ์ชีวิต ซึ่งเราสร้างเสริมให้กับลูกด้วยตนเอง
เราคิดว่าเราโชคดีที่สามารถได้ใช้เวลาอยู่กับลูกในช่วงเวลาที่เค้าต้องการพ่อแม่มากที่สุด เราได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในเวลาดี ๆ มากมายของลูก และด้วยลักษณะครอบครัวเราที่เป็นครอบครัวเดี่ยว ไม่มีญาติผู้ใหญ่อยู่ด้วย และไม่ได้คบหาสมาคมกับญาติอื่น ๆ มากนัก ทำให้เราต้องพึ่งตัวเองร้อยเปอร์เซ็นต์ในการดูแลลูก ๆ
และด้วยความที่เป็นแม่ตั้งท้องที่แพ้ท้องมาราธร ขอให้กำลังใจคุณแม่ที่ต้องเลี้ยงดูลูกน้อยเพียงลำพัง ทุกท่าน ณ ที่นี้ว่า ไม่ว่าคุณจะรู้สึกอย่างไร มีปัญหาแค่ไหน ท้อแท้สักเพียงไร ขอเพียงตั้งสติให้มั่น เข้มแข็ง อดทน แล้วในไม่ช้า ปัญหาทุกอย่างก็จะผ่านไป โดยเฉพาะคุณแม่หลังคลอดที่ประสบภาวะซึมเศร้า เราเป็นถึงสองเดือนกว่า และก็ผ่านมาถึงตอนนี้ที่สองหนุ่มอายุเกือบสี่ขวบแล้ว จากเด็กน้อยที่ตัวกระจิ๊ดริด พูดไม่ได้ บอกไม่ได้ เดินไม่ได้ กลายเป็นเด็กน้อยที่กำลังจะเป็นหนุ่ม สูง 105 เซ็นติเมตร หนัก 19 กิโลกรัม พูดทั้งวัน บ่นแม่ทุกวัน มีเหตุผลมาคัดค้านแม้ได้ทุกเรื่อง เดินไม่ได้เหมือนเดิม…แต่เอาแต่วิ่งต่างหาก ทั้งวิ่ง ปั่นจักรยาน ปีน ป่าย เป็นลิงไปเสียแล้ว

แต่เมื่อเราได้มาอยู่ในฐานะ “แม่” ของฝาแฝดหนุ่มน้อย เราก็คิดว่า “แม่” คือผู้สร้างชาติ…สร้างโลก เลยทีเดียว ลูกน้อยจะเติบโตมาอย่างไรนั้น ขึ้นอยู่กับการทุ่มเทเอาใจใส่ของแม่อย่างแท้จริง และเมื่อความเสียสละ อุทิศตนของแม่ ได้สร้างให้ลูกเป็นคนดี มีความสามารถ ก็เป็นพลังอันยิ่งใหญ่ที่จะขับโลกใบนี้ให้หมุนไปในทางที่เจริญ ดีงาม
